Strava, the ‘app for active people with more than 150 million athletes’, has announced an integration with the new Oakley Meta Vanguard Performance AI glasses.
The integration allows athletes to overlay their performance metrics onto videos and photos captured with the glasses. It also helps athletes to add data from their Strava activity – such as distance, average pace, and elevation gain – onto footage.
To use the integration, athletes must connect Strava within the Meta AI mobile app. After an activity is completed, users can select media from the workout captured on the glasses, overlay their Strava stats, and share the content.
Pre-order for the Oakley Meta Vanguard AI glasses began on September 17, 2025, with pricing starting at US$499.
Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses feature built-in Meta AI. The sunglasses integrate with Garmin smartwatches and cycling computers to give athletes real-time insights and alerts, as well as capturing footage from workouts.
