The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) and World Triathlon have confirmed San Francisco, the French Riviera, and Saudi Arabia as the final three locations for the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour, making a nine-stop calendar.
The announcement was made as the 2025 series concludes with the Qatar T100 World Championship Final, in Doha, this week – in partnership with Visit Qatar.
The PTO and World Triathlon confirmed that the Gold Coast, Spain, Vancouver, and Dubai will host women’s professional T100 races in 2026. Singapore, San Francisco, the French Riviera, and Saudi Arabia will host men’s professional T100 races.
The professional women and men will then come together for the second Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final in December 2026.
The 2026 ‘Race To Qatar’ calendar is:
- March 21–22 – Gold Coast – women’s pro race
- April 25–26 – Singapore – men’s pro race
- May 23–24 – Spain – women’s pro race
- June 6–7 – San Francisco – men’s pro race
- August 15–16 – Vancouver – women’s pro race
- September 19–20 – French Riviera – men’s pro race
- November 12–15 – Dubai – women’s pro race
- November (TBC) – Saudi Arabia – men’s pro race
- December 11–12 – Qatar – women and men’s pro race
The T100 Triathlon World Tour is run by PTO in partnership with international governing body World Triathlon. It is a season-long schedule of elite races competed over 100km (2km swim, 80km bike, and 18km run).
Amateur triathlon and mass participation opportunities will be delivered by the PTO at each event, aside from the French Riviera, which will be in partnership with the Saint Raphael Triathlon, and San Francisco, which will be delivered in partnership with the Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon.
Sam Renouf, PTO Chief Executive Officer, said “We’re excited to confirm San Francisco, the French Riviera and Saudi Arabia as the final three legs of the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour.
“San Francisco and the French Riviera have proved themselves as iconic destinations and courses for our pro athletes this year and reflect our strategy and commitment to elevating triathlon on an international stage.”
He added “Following our partnership with SURJ Sports Investment, we are excited to be bringing the T100 to Saudi Arabia – this is a great first output of our collaboration with the Saudi Triathlon Federation and our ambition to deliver world-class racing in the Kingdom to inspire a new generation of athletes and fans.”
This announcement follows revisions to the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour format, which were announced in October. These include an adapted competition schedule, removal of season-long contract commitments, and increased event prize money.
The PTO also confirmed a return to Lievin, France, for the T1 Indoor World Cup in 2026, which it piloted last year. It consists of a 200m swim, 2.8km bike, and 1km run.
The PTO and World Triathlon also announced in October that the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS) will return to London on July 25–26, 2026, at the London T100 weekend, after switching out the professional 100km distance.
The final event of this year’s 2025 T100 Tour takes place this month at the inaugural Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final on December 10–13.
The PTO has also announced Qatari Diar as the Official Venue Partner of the 2025 Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final, taking place in Doha this month. Qatari Diar, a real estate developer, has played a role in shaping the waterfront area for the Qatar T100 venue, which is in Lusail Boulevard.
This partnership is part of a wider agreement between the PTO, Visit Qatar, World Triathlon, and the Qatar Triathlon Federation that will see Qatar host the T100 Triathlon World Championship Final from 2025 through 2029.

PTO adds that the T100 Triathlon World Tour has a presence in over 195 international broadcast territories. The Qatar T100 Triathlon World Championship Final will also highlight Qatar’s luxury tourism and hospitality sector, which is a key pillar of the country’s long-term economic and cultural strategy and aims to support Qatar’s broader ‘National Vision 2030’ objectives.
The 9-leg 2025 series has already been to Singapore (April 5–6), San Francisco (May 31–June 1), Vancouver (June 13–15), London (August 9–10), the French Riviera (August 30–31), Spain (September 20), Wollongong in Australia (October 18), and Dubai (November 13–16).
T100 weekends are billed as ‘festivals of multisport’ and feature a range of opportunities for amateur athletes of all levels to get involved, such as the Age-Group World Championship, open-entry 100km distance, and sprint triathlon, as well as single discipline, untimed events.
