National governing body Triathlon Ireland has named AccountsIQ as its new Finance and Insights Partner, expanding its relationship with the financial software provider.
The partnership will see Triathlon Ireland use AccountsIQ’s software to streamline financial processes, improve reporting and support long-term scalability. The governing body has used ExpenseIn – part of the AccountsIQ Group – since 2018.
AccountsIQ will also support the My Tri Ranking Ireland pages in 2025 and 2026. These rankings form part of Ireland’s Triathlon and Duathlon National Series, offering athletes a platform to track progress and performance.
Darren Coombes, CEO at Triathlon Ireland, said “We are delighted to welcome AccountsIQ Group on board as our new Finance and Insights Partner. Data is a key element for us as an organisation, as well as for our triathlon community who utilise the numbers to gauge performance at all levels.
“As a long time user of ExpenseIn to track our expenses, there is a natural synergy between our organisations. I’m really excited to see our partnership develop and what we can achieve together over the next two years.”
Darren Cran, CEO of AccountsIQ, added “This partnership is the latest for AccountsIQ with National Governing Bodies (NGBs) in the sports sector, adding to our relationships with Hockey Ireland, Athletics Ireland and more.
“Data sits at the core of success, whether in business or in sport. Accurate insights enable better decision-making, stronger performance, and more effective strategies. As a committed triathlete myself, this partnership is particularly meaningful to me.”
