PUMA has launched its new Go Wild Podcast as part of its wider Go Wild content series. Hosted by former sprint and hurdles star Colin Jackson, the podcast explores the brand’s campaign theme of ‘boldness and self-expression’ through interviews with athletes, ambassadors and influencers.
The first episode features a 30-minute conversation between Jackson and eight-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt. The pair discuss moments that shaped Bolt’s career, including the highs of his world-record runs and setbacks such as the 2011 false start disqualification.
The series aims to explore sport and lifestyle themes through personal stories. Future episodes will feature members of the so-called ‘PUMA Wild Ones’ – individuals who the brand says reflect its philosophy of redefining performance with courage and individuality.
Julie Legrand, Global Senior Director Brand Strategy and Communication at PUMA, said “The launch of our new Go Wild Podcast allows our audience to delve deeper into PUMA’s brand DNA, told through the lens of inspiring individuals who truly embody PUMA’s philosophy.
“At PUMA, we want to champion the individuals who have the courage to be themselves, and this first episode with Usain Bolt can do this perfectly. With more intimate conversations on the Go Wild podcast, we aim to inspire a new generation to embrace boldness, authenticity, and self-expression.”
The podcast follows the launch of PUMA’s largest international brand campaign to date in March. The wider Go Wild series will include full-profile video content and appearances at sporting events including the Boston Marathon and Women’s Euro Championship.
