Zwift gearing up for Tour Fever to hit this July

As the Official Training Software Provider for the Tour de France, Zwift is getting ready for Tour Fever to hit this July with a month of Tour-themed content.

For those wanting to challenge themselves this summer, Tour Fever on Zwift sees the launch a new Climb Portal Challenge, featuring four iconic climbs from the 2025 Tour de France route.

The climbs include Mûr De Bretagne tackled on Stage 7 of this year’s race, Col de la Croix Saint-Robert from Stage 10, Hautacam from Stage 12 and Col de la Madeleine from Stage 18.

Climb Portal Events will be running throughout the challenge, offering a social group experience for Zwifters wishing to complete the Tour de France virtual climbs alongside others. Riders can complete the climbs in any order, progressively unlocking rewards. Those who complete all four climbs can unlock the exclusive Didi the Devil Kit and Cap for their avatars on the Zwift platform.

L’Étape Virtual returns on July 18-20, recreating L’Étape du Tour de France, the amateur cycling event that takes on the same roads as the pros.

In this year’s virtual offering, with all RoboPacers setting off together for the first time, riders can pick their own pace. Meanwhile, on July 22, to celebrate Stage 16 of the Tour de France, featuring Mont Ventoux, Zwift will host group rides on Ven-Top, the in-game replica of this legendary climb.

Throughout July, the Workout of the Week will feature athlete inspired workouts designed by Alpecin-Deceunick riders. Zwift will also get the full Tour de France treatment, with road art, Tour Fever RoboPacers, and more.
