A new UK-based platform, Sportverse, has launched with the goal of simplifying how athletes discover endurance events, clubs, and services. Positioned as a centralised directory spanning running, cycling, triathlon, and more, the platform brings together listings that are typically spread across multiple sources.
Two months after its launch, Sportverse has reported encouraging early traction, with a growing number of events and organisations joining the platform. The new site also reported positive user feedback on usability and discoverability.
The platform targets both participants and providers, offering athletes a streamlined search experience and giving organisers an additional visibility channel.
A spokesperson for Sportverse said “We started Sportverse because nothing like it existed. As athletes and club owners ourselves, we know the struggle of connecting people to sport. Finding a club in your area shouldn’t be this hard, and running one shouldn’t mean battling algorithms.
“What began as a cycling club directory has grown into a comprehensive platform covering clubs, bike stores, brands, coaches, events, curated routes, and sport-friendly stays. We bring together publicly available data from across the UK sports landscape, so one search covers every major source.
“In early 2026, we became an official komoot partner, allowing us to embed curated cycling routes directly into city and club pages with full elevation profiles, coffee stop recommendations, and AI-generated route descriptions.
“We launched with cycling and have grown to 17,400+ clubs across the platform. Triathlon, skiing, and more sports are on the roadmap. One sport at a time, done properly.”
As the endurance sector continues to expand, Sportverse aims to establish itself as a go-to hub for discovery, with plans to expand its listings and functionality through the end of the 2026 season.
