4iiii Innovations, the Canada-based sports technology company, has launched the latest version of its Viiiiva heart rate monitor. The updated device features a claimed battery life of over 540 hours and is designed to integrate with the company’s PRECISION 3+ power meters.
The heart rate monitor uses a high-sensitivity chest strap to measure heart rate, which the company states offers medical-grade precision. It features an IPX7 waterproof rating and weighs less than 46g. Data transmission is handled via ANT+ and Bluetooth, allowing for compatibility with various head units and indoor training platforms.
According to the company, combining heart rate and power data provides a more comprehensive overview of an athlete’s physiological response compared to using either metric in isolation. This pairing is intended to assist in tracking fitness progression, managing recovery, and defining training zones.

The device includes an adjustable chest strap fitting sizes from 66–132cm. It captures heart rate data ranging from 30 to 240 BPM and is powered by a single CR2032 coin cell.
