US-based performance company Neuma has announced a new partnership with Vacation Races, an organiser of destination half marathons and ultramarathons. Under the new agreement, Neuma will serve as the Official Peak Performance Partner for select event weekends.
The collaboration will see Neuma activate at race expos and events such as the Grand Circle Trailfest, Moab Trailfest, and the Bryce Canyon Ultras. The company will provide product education, sampling, and discussions… ‘focused on cognitive resilience and endurance performance.’
Neuma is a neuroscience-driven company that produces Cogni6, a functional hydration drink mix designed to support nervous system regulation and cognitive performance. According to the company, the product aims to provide sustained energy and mental resilience for athletes competing in endurance sports.
The partnership holds personal significance for Alan Wiederhold, Co-founder of Neuma and an experienced endurance athlete. His first attempt at the Zion 100 ended in a medical tent, an experience that shifted his understanding of endurance performance and eventually led to the development of the company’s proprietary Cogni6 formula.
