ASSOS of Switzerland and EF Pro Cycling have launched the ‘Ride In Peace’ capsule, a limited–edition switch–out kit designed for the 2026 Giro d’Italia, which is getting under way on May 8, 2026 and runs through to May 31st, featuring 21 stages across Italy.
Every year, the EF Pro Cycling squads depart from their traditional pink apparel to avoid clashing with the iconic leader’s jersey of the Italian Grand Tour. The new 2026 collection includes a limited–edition SCA jersey with a second–skin aero fit, alongside the Mille GT jersey. The range also features Tactica LS casual jerseys and Equipe R bib shorts, which incorporate the team’s 2026 graphics.
Edwin Navez, CEO at ASSOS of Switzerland, said “We believe innovation happens when you challenge conventions, both in how products perform and how they are expressed. Too often in this sport, performance and identity are treated separately. We don’t see it that way.”
He added “With EF Pro Cycling, this is again about pushing both at the same time, engineering at the highest level, and a visual language that refuses to blend in.”
ASSOS was founded 49 years ago in Switzerland and focuses on high–end technical apparel for endurance cycling. The company holds 25 patents and has been involved in over 400 Olympic and World Championship medals. It manufactures many of its exclusive fabrics within 150km of its headquarters in Stabio, Switzerland.
EF Pro Cycling operates several squads, including the men’s WorldTeam, EF Education–EasyPost, and the women’s WorldTeam, EF Education–Oatly. The organisation has been active since 2003 and competes in major international events such as the Tour de France and gravel races like Unbound.
The Giro d’Italia is one of the most prestigious races in the international cycling calendar. Because the race leader wears a pink jersey (the ‘maglia rosa’), teams with pink primary colours are required to change their kit design for the duration of the three–week event to ensure clear identification within the peloton.
The ‘Ride In Peace’ collection is available in limited quantities through the company website and select international retail partners.
