Castle Race Series partners with Dare2Tri for wetsuit hire

Castle Race Series x Dare2Tri

Castle Race Series has announced a new partnership with Dare2Tri to provide wetsuit hire across its European events. The collaboration is intended to improve accessibility for athletes by removing the initial cost of purchasing equipment.

The Castle Race Series team notes that, for many participants, particularly those new to the sport, sourcing a wetsuit can be a significant financial hurdle. The partnership with Dare2Tri aims to address this by offering rental options directly at event venues across Europe.

According to the event company, the hire service provides three primary benefits: reducing environmental impact by encouraging reuse over new purchases, removing the need for a large upfront investment, and providing access to high-quality equipment for all budget levels.

Castle Race Series is an event organiser known for hosting multisport races at historic venues across the UK and Europe, including châteaux in France and Ireland. Matrix Events is the parent company of the series.

A spokesperson for Castle Race Series said “We are extremely passionate about giving our racers the easiest route into racing. This partnership with Dare2Tri means our EU athletes can arrive at the start line confident, prepared, and race-ready – without the cost or the environmental impact of buying kit they may only use a handful of times.”

Dare2Tri provides an integrated approach to event support, combining equipment rental with merchandising solutions. The model is designed to streamline logistics for organisers while enhancing the experience for athletes on the ground.

The partnership aligns with the broader mission of Castle Race Series to ensure that cost, kit, and environmental impact do not act as barriers to participation. With Dare2Tri supporting the European events, athletes can access the same sustainable hire experience across different locations.

Josie Gray, Marketing & Communications at Castle Race Series, noted that the collaboration reflects an ethos of building sustainable partnerships that enhance the athlete experience and streamline event organisation.
