Triathlon fans around the globe will have access to Challenge Family’s flagship event as The Championship 2026 streams live next Sunday May 24, 2026. The event organising team notes that the free broadcast will have no geo-restrictions.
Broadcast in full via challenge-family.live and on Instagram (@ChallengeFamily), the live stream will feature commentary from Belinda Granger, alongside special guests. The event takes place at the x-bionic sphere in Šamorín, Slovakia.
With over 70 elite athletes competing for a share of the €100,000 prize purse, viewers can expect a competitive professional field. In the men’s race, Will Draper will be looking to continue his form fresh from his Challenge Salou–Costa Daurada victory. He will face competition from competitors such as Frederic Funk, Henry Räppo, Pieter Heemeryck, and Kieran Lindars.
The women’s field features Caroline Pohle, who is looking to back up her recent Challenge Gran Canaria win. She will line up against competitors such as Marta Sánchez, Katrine Græsbøll Christensen, Megan McDonald, and Lena Meissner.
Beyond the professional field, a sold-out field of over 2,300 age-group athletes will also take to the start line. The live stream will continue throughout the day to capture the finish line moments for all participants.
The event coverage will start at 08:15 CEST on May 24, 2026. The race start is scheduled for 08:30 CEST for the professional men and 08:40 CEST for the professional women.
