UK-based events service company krono:sports has announced it is stepping in to revive the Henley Swim open water series in 2026.
With a track record of delivering mass participation events both in the UK and internationally, krono:sports plans to retain the heritage of the event brand, which has operated for 20 years.
For the 2026 season, the organising team will focus on three core events: the Henley Classic, the Club to Pub, and the Thames Marathon. The Henley Swim Festival is expected to return to the calendar in 2027.
“Henley Swim events are iconic – we are excited and privileged that we can help to keep these events alive,” said a spokesperson at krono:sports. “We are committed to ensuring that the events stay true to their roots while continuing to develop new and exciting experiences for the swimmers.”
The events are returning after a hiatus in 2025. A representative at krono:sports confirmed it will carry forward registrations from the 2025 Henley Swim, and stated that all registered swimmers have been individually contacted.
Provisional dates for the 2026 events are:
- Henley Classic – June 28, 2026
- Club to Pub – July 25, 2026
- Thames Marathon – August 9, 2026
Specific announcements regarding confirmed dates and entry timings are expected to be made over the next few weeks. Swimmers can currently register their interest via the event website to receive updates.
