IRONMAN has confirmed its international broadcast schedule for the 2026 season, featuring live and free coverage of all 16 Experience Oman IRONMAN Pro Series events. The series schedule includes six full-distance IRONMAN triathlons, eight IRONMAN 70.3 events, and the two major world championship fixtures.
The series began on March 7 with the ANZCO Foods IRONMAN New Zealand in Taupō. Throughout 2026, coverage will span eight months, concluding with the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawai`i, and the two-day IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France.
Global access and platforms
Following a reported 80 million views across live coverage and replays in 2025, IRONMAN is expanding its digital footprint this year. Live broadcasts will be available to international audiences, including those in the UK, US and Canada, via:

- DAZN
Additional regional coverage and highlights will be provided by partners including iQIYI, L’Equipe and ESPN (via Disney+). For viewers in North America, Outside+ will host 45-minute highlight shows and cutdown replays.
Commentary team
The 2026 broadcast team features a panel of former world champions and experienced presenters:
- Daniela Ryf: 10-time IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion
- Craig Alexander: Five-time IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion
- Mirinda Carfrae: Three-time IRONMAN World Champion
- Will McCloy: Returning as a lead commentator following his series debut in 2025
The team will be joined throughout the season by various guest commentators to provide technical analysis and professional insight into the 16-race series.

Series opener: IRONMAN New Zealand
The season commenced this past weekend in Taupō, New Zealand, where more than 40 professional athletes competed for a US$125,000 prize purse and 5,000 IRONMAN Pro Series points.
Trevor Foley (USA) secured the men’s victory in 07:46:44, supported by a 02:35:42 marathon. Foley overtook home favourite Kyle Smith in the final 15km of the run. Pierre Le Corre (FRA) finished second in his full-distance debut, with Matt Hanson (USA) in third. Defending series champion Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR) finished sixth following mechanical issues on the bike.
In the women’s race, Kat Matthews (GBR) delivered a dominant performance to win in 08:28:55, breaking the course record by approximately 12 minutes. Matthews finished ahead of New Zealand’s Hannah Berry, with Lotte Wilms (NED) completing the podium in third.
