The Experience Oman IRONMAN Pro Series will make its debut in Pennsylvania for its seventh stop of the 2026 season. State College, PA, is set to host the IRONMAN 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley North American Championship on June 14, 2026.
With 2,500 IRONMAN Pro Series points on offer and a professional prize purse of US$75,000 up for grabs, the race is poised to play a key role in the series standings. This event also marks the first time the IRONMAN 70.3 North American Championship has been hosted in Pennsylvania.
The race will be broadcast live for international audiences across IRONMAN YouTube, ironman.com/proseries, and DAZN. Additional regional live broadcasts and highlight shows will be available via platforms such as L’Équipe Live, Disney+, and Outside TV.
The women’s race features an international lineup led by Paula Findlay, an Olympian and multiple IRONMAN 70.3 champion. She arrives in form following a runner-up finish at IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga early in May 2026.
Also headlining the field is current series leader Hannah Berry. She continues to build momentum following a second-place finish at IRONMAN New Zealand and a top-10 placing at the IRONMAN Texas North American Championship earlier this season, following a fourth-place finish at the end of the 2025 season at the IRONMAN World Championship.
A US contingent is led by Grace Alexander, who arrives following victories at IRONMAN 70.3 Gulf Coast and IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga in May 2026. She is joined by Jackie Hering, Danielle Lewis, and defending champion Lydia Russell, who returns after securing a win in Happy Valley during the 2025 season. International depth is bolstered by Grace Thek, currently fourth in the series, and Tamara Jewett, who sits seventh in the standings.
The men’s race sets the stage for a North American Championship showdown. Matt Hanson, currently sitting second in the standings, leads the contingent. His recent performances include a third-place finish at IRONMAN New Zealand in 2026, a fifth-place showing at IRONMAN Arizona in late 2025, and a podium finish at IRONMAN 70.3 Chattanooga in 2026.
Sam Long returns to racing looking to rebound from a challenging outing at the IRONMAN Texas North American Championship. Currently seventh in the standings, he will be aiming for a strong result to regain momentum.
Ben Kanute, who ranks eighth in the standings, remains a factor alongside veteran Sam Appleton. The field also features 2026 IRONMAN New Zealand champion Trevor Foley and 2026 IRONMAN African champion Matthew Marquardt.
