Surf Dating has joined the roster of HYROX partner brands, as the Official Dating App Partner for HYROX in North America.
The international fitness racing series has partnered with Surf Dating to offer its athletes a way to connect with available singles offline and pursue connections based on shared fitness interests.
Founded in 2024, Surf Dating is a New York-based app designed to help singles find connections. The platform features a grid-style view and filtering options to sort by fitness preferences and interests, such as pickleball or backpacking, without these features being hidden behind a paywall.
As part of the new partnership, users can now select a HYROX filter on the app to see other singles who are competing in or training for upcoming races during the 2026 season.
The HYROX fitness racing series features a race format consisting of 8 x 1km runs and eight functional workout stations. The series allows participants to race as a solo athlete or as part of a doubles pair.
At upcoming races in the United States and Canada, Surf Dating will host interactive opportunities and provide ‘singles’ wristbands for participating athletes.

The partnership also includes a commitment to developing in-person connections through various activations. These include pre-race shakeout runs and singles recovery events. The dating app will also host Station 9, which serves as the official after party and the ‘9th station’ in the HYROX 8-station race format.

The partnership will be visible at select HYROX North American race locations in early 2026. These events include stops in Phoenix, AZ; Las Vegas, NV; Washington, D.C.; Miami Beach, FL; Houston, TX; New York City, NY; and Ottawa, ON.
