Milano-Torino, the oldest cycling Classic race on the international calendar, celebrates its 150th anniversary during the 2026 season. Organiser RCS Sport confirmed the details of the 107th edition on March 2, 2026, at a presentation in Turin, alongside the announcement of a new partnership with French car manufacturer Citroën.
The race itself is scheduled for March 18, 2026, and will follow a 174km route starting in Rho and finishing at the Basilica of Superga. This year’s event marks 150 years since the inaugural edition in 1876, which was won by Paolo Magretti.
Citroën has meanwhile been unveiled as the Official Car of RCS Sport races for the 2026 season. The agreement with the Stellantis Group brand begins this month with Strade Bianche on March 7.
Antonella Bruno, Managing Director of Stellantis Italia, said “The partnership with RCS Sport is particularly valuable to us because it involves events that are among the most followed and deeply rooted in the country – not only in sport, but in Italian society as a whole.”
The 2026 Milano–Torino field will feature 22 teams, including nine UCI WorldTeams and 11 UCI ProTeams. Two UCI Continental Teams, Biesse – Carrera – Premac and Team Ukyo, have also been invited. Notable WorldTeams participating include UAE Team Emirates XRG, Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe, and Lidl–Trek.
The route remains largely flat through the first half, crossing the Po Valley and passing through Magenta, Novara, and Vercelli. The technical challenge increases in the second half with a final circuit that includes two ascents of the climb to Superga. The climb features an average gradient of 9.1% and peaks at 14%.

To mark the anniversary, an exhibition featuring historic photographs and newspaper archives is on display at the Mole Antonelliana in Turin until race day.
Recent years have seen increasing international diversity in the race results. In 2025, Isaac Del Toro became the first Mexican winner. Other nations such as Slovenia, Great Britain, and the Netherlands have also claimed their first victories at the event within the last five years.
