No.6 Racing Wheels has announced the launch of ProjectSpeed, a new performance development platform designed to challenge conventional wheel design and engineering. Rather than a single product, ProjectSpeed is positioned as a systemised approach to wheel development that combines aerodynamics, structural efficiency, and racing validation.
No.6 Racing Wheels focuses on engineering-led design for road and gravel cycling. Its philosophy centres on removing legacy constraints to rebuild performance from first principles.
The ProjectSpeed platform is built around a continuous development loop that integrates multiple variables. This includes tuning aerodynamic profiles as part of a complete system and prioritising real-world testing over controlled laboratory assumptions.
Ken Goh, Founder at No.6 Racing Wheels, said “Most brands optimise within the rules they inherit. ProjectSpeed is about rewriting those rules entirely.”
The new development system underpins the full No.6 Racing Wheels range. This includes road performance wheelsets across various depth profiles, such as the 28/28 Superlight Climb, 42/48 Superlight All Round, 52/58 Superlight Aero, and 58/65 Superlight Aero+.
The platform also extends to gravel-specific options, including the G45R Aero Gravel for racing and the G45W Aero Gravel for all-terrain use. Additionally, the Pulsar Disc Wheel has been engineered within this system for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
According to the company, every element of ProjectSpeed is validated under race loads and demanding real-world conditions to ensure measurable advantages for the rider.
ProjectSpeed–powered products are being unveiled at the Taipei Cycle Show 2026. The company’s wheels are available to purchase directly from the company website and through global dealers.
