Pinarello Q36.5 team unveils custom bike and kit for Tour de France

Tom Pidcock is set to make his return to the Tour de France at this year’s race, leading the line-up for Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. The team will compete at the event for the very first time in its history with an exclusive, new DOGMA F colourway and a limited-edition racing kit.

The 113th edition of the Tour de France takes place from July 4–26, 2026. The professional cycling team will compete on the custom DOGMA F in every stage, excluding time trials.

Italian bike manufacturer Pinarello has delivered a one-off design for the duration of the grand tour. The DOGMA F bike features matt-finished Titan and Luxter Venice tones paired using Pinarello’s Cut paint scheme. Additional details include gold Pinarello and DOGMA F decals, and the UBS logo positioned on both sides of the fork.

Fausto Pinarello, President at Pinarello, said “The new colours have been carefully tuned to provide the Pinarello Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team with a fresh summer look, ensuring a more distinctive visual identity in the world’s biggest bike race.

“The Tour de France is the ultimate stage for cycling innovation, and the DOGMA F is born for these historic moments. This striking livery perfectly marries our deep racing heritage with a bold, modern aesthetic, and we are proud to provide the team with a machine that looks as fast as it performs.”

The new bike matches a limited-edition racing kit created by Q36.5, an Italian technical cycling apparel brand. Founded in 2013 by Luigi Bergamo and Sabrina Emmasi, Q36.5 focuses on high-performance thermoregulation and the use of woven fabrics. The brand co-founded the pro cycling team in 2023.

The special Tour de France kit introduces a palette of light greys and blues. According to the company, this is designed to give riders a fresher summer look while standing out in the peloton.

Lodovico Pignatti Morano, Creative Director at Q36.5, said “The use of lighter colours visually sharpens the detailed presence of Q36.5’s technology within the rider’s garments, drawing attention to the body-mapped construction of the rider’s skinsuits as tones of blue change from panel to panel with the different yarns reacting differently to the printing process.

“Similarly, the Tarmac Grey Dottore Pro bib shorts, by using a lighter colour, draw attention to the integrated multiple densities of weave within the leg panels. The result is not just the most technically sophisticated skinsuit in the peloton but also the visually richest.”

Luigi Bergamo, founder and Head of R&D at Q36.5, added “From our humble beginnings in 2023 when we founded the team together with our partners with a naive dream of creating a professional ‘factory team’ to where we now sit, less than four years later, preparing for the Tour de France with this exceptional group of athletes and staff is incredible.

“I am very proud to have participated in the development of this team, and even to look at the difference between the level and breadth of our own supply in 2023 and today is a source of satisfaction. The kit we are providing to the team represents not just the pinnacle of what the company can do from a performance point of view, marrying comfort, aerodynamics and thermoregulation in an innovative way for elite competition, but is also a visual tribute to this milestone.”

A limited quantity of both the special bike colourway and the apparel collection will be made available to the public through official retailers.

At the heart of the commercial collection is the Gregarius Clima Pro Cycling Team Limited Edition Jersey, engineered for racing in hot conditions. It utilizes three different fabrics, including ultralight mesh materials across the chest and back to support thermoregulation. It also features a new 6mm ribbed aero sleeve fabric and a proprietary raglan sleeve design.

The collection is completed by the Dottore Pro Cycling Team Limited Edition Bib Shorts, which are built around four-zone body mapping. These feature a proprietary two-layer Q LAB Air Chamois, silver thread for antibacterial properties, and a light compressive fit. A ventilated limited-edition summer cap in a light blue finish completes the line-up.
