Reebok becomes official sponsor of The French Throwdown

Reebok has announced its official partnership with The French Throwdown, the largest CrossFit competition in Europe. The event is scheduled to take place on May 15–17, 2026, at the Arena Grand Paris in France.

Through this collaboration, Reebok aims to strengthen its commitment to athletes and the functional fitness community. As the official performance sponsor of the popular event in France, Reebok notes it will provide apparel and footwear for all competing athletes and the 350 volunteers involved.

The partnership aligns with the ‘Return to Sport’ strategy for the company, which seeks to highlight innovation and performance excellence within competitive sport.

Founded in 2012 in Paris, The French Throwdown has developed into a significant fixture on the international CrossFit calendar. It originally launched as the first Reebok CrossFit National Fitness Championship and has previously been held at venues such as INSEP, Stade Charléty, and the National Velodrome of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

The competition is currently the largest of its kind in Europe. For the third consecutive year, it has been selected as the official European stage of the CrossFit Games season. The 2026 edition sees the event return to its Parisian roots at the Arena Grand Paris, a venue with a capacity for 9,000 spectators.

The event also maintains a charitable component through a long-standing partnership with the Aladin Association, a non-profit organisation.

Elisa Fuliano, professional Reebok athlete, said “The French Throwdown has always held a special place in my heart and is undoubtedly one of my favourite competitions! The atmosphere is incredible and the event is always extremely well organised. The fact that Reebok is the official sponsor of the competition means a lot to me. After years of working together, I consider them family, and their presence in support of the event makes it even more special.”

As part of the partnership, Reebok will showcase the Nano X5 Edge, the latest evolution in its training footwear line. According to the company, the shoe is engineered for high-performance training, featuring a Flexweave upper for durability and a Dualresponse midsole designed for forefoot cushioning and heel stability.

The footwear is intended to support various movements including explosive lifts, dynamic transitions, and short runs.

During the competition weekend, Reebok will collaborate with retail partner i-Run to provide an on-site retail experience. This space will allow for product trials and personalisation, featuring various training products from the brand.

Reebok is a sports & culture brand with a fitness heritage dating back to 1895. It currently operates in 80 countries and manages approximately 400 freestanding stores globally, offering products across the sport and lifestyle sectors.
