Having rapidly outgrown its present location near Temple Meads Station in Bristol, UK – award winning independent swim, bike, run store The Triathlon Shop is to open a new custom designed store in the Harbourside area of Bristol in time for the 2014 triathlon season.
The move will enable the shop to offer:
- a custom designed bike fit studio in conjunction with Newfit Systems;
- increased workshop capacity;
- a bio-mechanical and gait analysis studio;
- sports massage and injury rehab clinics;
- as well as a high end endless pool for wetsuit testing and technique coaching.
The shop will also have a comprehensive hire and demo programme enabling customers to try bikes, saddles and wetsuits before they buy and to hire bike boxes and race wheels.
The Triathlon Shop’s Co-Owner Holly Burrage said “This move will not only allow us to show off our products in a more spacious and inviting environment, but will allow us to expand all the services that we have become so well known for.

The shop intends to be the heart of the active community in Bristol’s Harbourside, which is already the centre of sport in Bristol hosting the Bristol Triathlon, half marathon, 10K and Bristol’s biggest bike ride. There will be regular runs and rides from the shop as well as seminars and an in-store cafe area offering refreshments and live sport on screen.
