New sponsors… One Step Beyond partners with MODA and Raceskin

UK triathlon race organiser One Step Beyond has agreed new partnerships with Moda/Moorelarge bikes and Raceskin clothing for its events, which include the televised Outlaw Triathlon and the hugely popular Club Relays event.

Moda’s interval time trial bike in black, orange and white is seen as a perfect fit with the Outlaw, and the long-term partnership with the Derby based company will also link in with retailer, Total Fitness Nottingham (TFN).

Moda already provides triathletes Tom & David Bishop and Lawrence Fanous with training and race bikes. The bikes are UK designed and the link with distributor, Moorelarge, will also include brands such as American Classic.

Raceskin is a relatively new bespoke technical cycle and triathlon clothing brand that will partner with One Step Beyond to produce official Outlaw cycle wear. The brand’s emphasis is on good design, durability and comfort.

The partnership will see exclusive Raceskin winners’ jerseys presented to age group and overall winners of the televised Outlaw triathlon. Raceskin will also be present at events though out the year to talk to clubs about bespoke kit.

These two new partnerships come on top of the recent announcement of the partnership with ERDINGER Alkoholfrei and two nominations in the annual 220 Triathlon Magazine awards.

One Step Beyond (OSB) founder and director, Iain Hamilton, has been nominated for the Jane Tomlinson award for Outstanding Contribution to Triathlon, and the Outlaw is shortlisted for the Event of the Year award having won for the previous three years. OSB event partners TFN, Simon Ward and blueseventy are also nominated.

One Step Beyond’s first 2014 event will take place next weekend with the Mud N Madness adventure race. The duathlons season gets underway with the Clumber Classic at the end of March and the first triathlon races start at the end of April.
