Building on a collaboration in 2017, Italian cycling accessories specialist KASK has continued its support of the Maratona dles Dolomites – Enel, one of the world’s most challenging and picturesque single-day gran fondos, where this year the event theme is ‘equilibrium’ – a state of physical balance.
The Maratona dles Dolomites enel will take place on Sunday 1st July 2018. Once again there will be a Sella Ronda, and Medium and Long routes for those wanting to really themselves.
To celebrate the event, KASK has created a limited edition version of its VALEGRO helmet – the VALEGRO MDD. This new design incorporates the Maratona’s rainbow coloured logo on the top, front and rear of the helmet. VALEGRO MDD will be available via stores globally at all4cycling, and at the Maratona dles Dolomites gran fondo itself.
The VALEGRO, which recently won a prestigious IF Design Award, has a polycarbonate shell, tested and refined by KASK’s engineers in conjunction with a wind tunnel ‘to get the best results in terms of thermo-cooling performance’.
KASK adds that he VALEGRO offers advanced ventilation and an impressively light weight of just 180g (size small). The new helmet design offers cooling through 37 ventilation holes with breathable, quick-dry padding. The 5mm layer of fast-wicking thermoformed tri-dimensional padding is antistatic, bacteriostatic, heat regulating and moisture transferring using Resistex Carbon. Alongside this, the chin pad with eco-leather strap contributes to a helmet that KASK adds is ‘comfortable to wear, all day’.
KASK will showcase its limited edition VALEGRO MDD at the Maratona’s ‘La Villa’ area from 28th-30th June in San Leonardo, Badia, Italy. The VALEGRO MDD will be available in small, medium and large and is presented in its own unique Maratona-Edition box.
