On 4 September 2020, Travel Talk will be bringing together the international bike industry and tourism sector in Friedrichshafen, Germany. The bicycle tourism conference at the leading international trade show Eurobike is seeking topics for discussion on the cycle tourism sector.
This is the 19th time that Travel Talk will take place as an integral part of the Eurobike trade fair programme. The event provides cycle tourism exchange and networking opportunities with representatives from the tourism sector (destinations, tour operators, service providers) and the bike economy (industry, retail, associations), as well as the media and bloggers.
Berlin-based agency Velokonzept and Messe Friedrichshafen are calling for active participation in the conference. As part of the Call for Participation, representatives from tourism and the bike industry are invited to submit proposals and suggestions for 3-minute pitches, discussion panels and workshops by 20 March 2020.
For 2020, the conference focus is ‘Town and Country’. Against a backdrop of key trends, such as sustainability, different tourism concepts are being developed for urban, rural and alpine environments. Eurobike asks… How can organisers learn from each other? What cooperations already exist? And where and how can tourist cycle routes also support commuting to work by bike?
The best proposals will be incorporated into the conference programme. Submissions selected for the ‘Coffee Break Pitch’ will also have the chance to present their ideas in more detail, if selected to go through to the second round.
Eurobike 2020 takes place from Wednesday 2 September to Saturday 5 September 2020 on the exhibition grounds in Friedrichshafen.
