ALÉ and KZS Kolesarska zveza Slovenije, Slovenia’s cycling federation, have announced a partnership. This will see the Italian apparel manufacturer supplying the livery of the Slovenian national teams in all cycling disciplines until the end of 2024.
Under this agreement, athletes of the calibre of Tadej Pogačar, Primož Roglič and Matej Mohorič will race wearing the Slovenian national team jerseys made by ALÉ. The jerseys will be worn in prestigious cycling events such as the UCI Cycling World Championships, the European Championships and the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The collaboration also extends to the Slovenian national championships in each cycling discipline.
ALÉ will supply the KZS with all race clothing, including summer and winter outfits and accessories. The country’s green colour, the so-called ‘Slovenian Green’, dominates on the garments and is mixed up by tone-on-tone geometric patterns on the sleeves and on the chest of the jerseys, while the bibshorts are dark blue with green elements on the thighs.
The garments are part of the PR-S collection, dedicated by ALÉ to its professional teams.
Some of the cyclists who make up the Slovenian national cycling team already wear ALÉ jerseys in all their races: this is the case of Matej Mohorič, Jan Tratnik, Domen Novak, who ride with the Bahrain-Victorious team, or Luka Mezgec of the BikeExchange team, two World Tour squads that are partnering with ALÉ.
In addition, Pogi Team UAE Generali, the team supported by Tadej Pogačar to grow Slovenian champions of the future, has chosen to race with ALÉ jerseys in 2022.
