Shimano has extended its cooperation agreement with the organizers of IRONMAN triathlon events in Poland. The company will provide free bicycle service for participants at IRONMAN events in the country, as well as providing technical support on cycling routes.
A cooperation between Shimano Bike-Polska and Sport Evolution Group, the local organizer of the IRONMAN racing in Poland, has been ongoing for 12 years.
“We greatly appreciate the cooperation with Shimano,” said Michał Drelich, Managing Director of Sport Evolution, IRONMAN’s licensee in Poland.
“It is a credible and reliable partner who, just like us, attaches great importance to the quality of services provided. Over many years of cooperation, we have developed very high standards in this area.”
Drelich added “We know that there may be problems with bikes before the event. We do not want this to defect to exclude any of our athletes from racing. The presence of Shimano mechanics at our events is a guarantee that the competitor will never be left alone in such a situation, and we will do our best to solve his problem. Shimano mechanics can handle the most advanced bicycles and complex equipment.”

“For many years we have developed a great partnership. We are sure that our mechanics will be able to provide services to competitors in the right conditions.
