US$480,000 up for grabs at new Tough Mudder Infinity event in Saudi Arabia

Back in October, Tough Mudder Arabia confirmed a new eight-hour Infinity event in AlUla, an oasis city located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia.

Scheduled for February 24, 2024, the Infinity race format can be undertaken as an individual or in teams of two or four. Racing in Saudi Arabia takes place over eight hours, with participants taking on a multi-lap 10km loop that features 21+ obstacles.

As reported by Obstacle Racing Media, the new endurance obstacle race in Saudi Arabia has a big prize pool with a total of US$480,000 up for grabs in February:

  • The top 10 pro men and pro women will receive an equal pay-out, taking a share of US$307,000, with the pro winners each taking home US$80,000.
  • There is also an equal pay-out for winners in each of the male and female age group categories who will share a pot of US$67,500, with age group winners each taking home US$3,750.
  • Two person teams who make the podium will share a pot of U$32,000; while four person teams who make the podium will share a pot of U$64,000.
  • There is also a further US$5,000 each for the fastest male lap and fastest female lap.

Tough Mudder Infinity was originally launched in 2022. The eight-hour competition challenges participants to complete as many laps of a Tough Mudder course as they can, facing between 13-30 obstacles per lap.
