Santini unveils official jerseys of La Vuelta 2024

Unipublic, the organizer of La Vuelta and La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour.es, has presented the official jerseys for the leaders of both races – produced by Italian apparel specialist Santini.

The men’s La Vuelta 2024, a UCI World Tour calendar event is scheduled from August 17 to September 8, 2024. The women’s La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour.es, takes place from April 28 to May 5, starting in Valencia.

In addition to the official jerseys, three Santini-designed kits dedicated to three significant stages of La Vuelta were also unveiled.

“This is a partnership that has reached its eighth year, which we have established with La Vuelta and confirms our constant commitment in the field of professional cycling,” said Monica Santini, CEO of Santini Cycling.

Javier Guillén, General Director of La Vuelta, added “These jerseys are the distinctive sign of La Vuelta and represent not only four classifications, but also the culture, the cities, and some of the emblematic climbs of this race.”

The official jerseys of the 2024 edition, designed and made in Bergamo at the Santini Cycling facilities, are:

  • The La Roja sponsored by Carrefour for the general classification leader;
  • The Green Jersey with Škoda logo for the best in the points classification;
  • The White Jersey branded Plenitude for the best young rider; and
  • The Polka Dot Jersey, sponsored by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, crowning the king of the mountains.

The official jerseys of La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour.es provided by Santini are:

  • The Carrefour-sponsored Red Jersey for the general classification leader;
  • The Škoda-logo Green Jersey for the points classification leader;
  • The Bien Star-branded White Jersey for the most combative rider; and
  • The Polka Dot Jersey, sponsored by Fundación Deportes Joven, which will crown the queen of the mountains.

In addition to the official leader jerseys, each year, Santini creates kits, consisting of a jersey, bib shorts, and accessories, dedicated to recognise stages of La Vuelta and designed for amateur enthusiasts of the Spanish race.

Each jersey has a classic fit and is breathable, made with a combination of micro-mesh fabrics and high-performance raw-cut sleeves. The bib shorts are made with compressive Thunderbike Power fabric. The lightweight and soft mesh braces allow quick drying and maximum breathability. The bib shorts are equipped with a Foam Bio seat pad.

  • The Lisbon Kit is dedicated to the first stage of La Vuelta 24 and celebrates Lisbon with its distinctive symbols.
  • The Cuitu Negru Kit celebrates the 15th stage of La Vuelta 24, paying tribute to the Cuitu Negru climb.
  • The Madrid Kit is a tribute to the Kilómetro Cero, the famous finish point of the 21st and final stage of La Vuelta 24. The design is inspired by the Puerta del Sol in Madrid, one of the most lively squares in Madrid, known as the starting point of the Spanish road network.

Replicas of the leader jerseys and the three special kits are available for purchase online and in specialized cycling stores worldwide.
