Alé outfits Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain

Premium cycling clothing & custom kit brand, Alé, has been named as the official jersey supplier of the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain, with the elite women’s race set for June 6-9, 2024.

Alé will supply the leaders’ jerseys for both the women’s and men’s races in 2024, with a green jersey for the Race Leader, blue for the Queen of the Mountains, red for the Sprint Leader and white for the Best Young Rider.

The jerseys will be presented to individual winners after each stage, with the overall winners being crowned in Leigh at the end of four gruelling stages of racing.

Alé join a growing family of partners supporting the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain events in 2024, including Lloyds Bank, Gaucho and Madison.

Darren Henry, Commercial Director for British Cycling, said “We’re delighted to welcome Alé on board as we begin our final preparations for the inaugural Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Women, and I’m sure that the jersey designs will be popular with both our riders and the thousands of fans out on the roadside.

“Since launching our long-term vision for major events in February we’ve seen really positive interest from a broad range of brands from both within and outside of our sport, and we were delighted to name Lloyds Bank as our title partner for the events last month.

“These partnerships are vital to the success of this race, and we’re grateful to the team at Alé for the support they’ve shown us to deliver two great events in 2024.”

Alessia Piccolo, CEO of APG, the company to which the Alé brand belongs, said “The Tour of Britain is a growing event that deserves great attention and support. It sees us as a partner for the first time, which is a pleasure and an honour.

“Britain is a strategic market for Alé and we are delighted to provide the best of our textile engineering for the Tour of Britain’s jerseys. We wish the organisation and the participating teams every success for this renewed edition.”

Further information on the Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain Men will be announced in due course.
