ENVE SES 4.5 PRO: billed as ‘the wheel that Tadej asked for’

ENVE Composites has released its latest high-performance wheelset, the SES 4.5 PRO, developed with direct input from Tadej Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates over two seasons.

The new wheelset has already racked up over 25 victories this year and builds on ENVE’s SES 4.5 platform… ‘with significant upgrades in weight, stiffness and rolling performance.’

The SES 4.5 PRO features a revised carbon layup using higher modulus fibres, reducing overall wheelset weight to 1295g. Aerodynamic performance remains a key focus, with rim depths of 49mm front and 55mm rear, and a 23.5mm inner-rim width optimised for 28mm tyres.

New features include ENVE’s Innerdrive PRO hubset with ceramic bearings, a straight-pull design, and a low-drag 40T ratchet system. The SES 4.5 PRO also introduces lighter rim graphics and thinner sidewalls while preserving ENVE’s Wide Hookless Bead pinch-flat protection.

Priced at US$3750 / €4499, the SES 4.5 PRO joins ENVE’s PRO line, which includes products designed in collaboration with World Tour athletes. It is manufactured in-house at ENVE’s Ogden, Utah facility.
