Canyon has partnered with Finnish Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas on a limited-edition version of its Grail CFR gravel bike, inspired by 1970s disco culture.
The Grail CFR VB 77 celebrates Bottas’ race number 77 and features a design nod to his distinctive moustache, incorporated into Canyon’s mountain headtube icon by designer Lukas Beck.
The collaboration includes a campaign showing Bottas riding and dancing with the bike, which launched on Canyon’s Road Instagram channel on Thursday, August 7, 2025.

The Grail CFR is Canyon’s top gravel race frame. According to the Germany-based bike firm, it is designed for speed and long-distance comfort with seat stays connected to the top tube to absorb vibrations.
The Grail CFR features an integrated LOAD downtube storage hatch and is fitted with a SRAM RED XPLR AXS 1×13 wireless groupset. Zipp 303 XPLR wheels with 32mm internal width rims are paired with Canyon’s CP0047 Gear Groove Pro cockpit, Fizik Vento saddle, and Canyon Ergospeed Gel bar tape.
Priced at US$10,500 / €9,000 / £8,350, only 100 units of the Grail CFR VB 77 are available worldwide, from August 7, 2025, via Canyon.com, the Canyon App, and Canyon Stores.
