Set to take place at RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands, on November 4-5, 2025, the International Running Expo (IRX) has over 100 exhibitors listed to attend, as the inaugural show aims to draw retailers, buyers, industry leaders and influencers.
The new B2B running expo is the latest extension to the portfolio of Raccoon Media Group, organiser of the UK’s National Running Show.
In a release, Raccoon notes that… ‘The inaugural IRX has attracted hundreds of global brands from Australia, China, Canada and the US, plus multiple European countries. The exhibitor line-up includes a mixture of new market entrants alongside established businesses looking to make new ground and have meaningful discussions.’
Among those in attendance will be software company Ochy, demonstrating its AI-powered biomechanics platform. CEP will present its newly launched running shoe, the Pro Run Omnispeed BowTech; and German-based True Motion will be showcasing its new Solo 2 shoe, due to be launched this November.
Sessions and activations for show visitors include:
- The Podium – featuring fireside chats between elite athletes such as Susie Chan and Scott Jurek
- Borderlands, The Marathon Running Podcast and Bad Boy Running Podcast will record exclusive, live episodes including interviews with running legends Dean Karnazes and Dylan Bowman
- BrandLAB by BrandWave – sessions on branding and communities
- A CEP morning run to start the day
- A ‘scavenger hunt’ organised by local Amsterdam run club Running Junkies
- Ice bath immersion and Breathwork sessions by Balance Breathing
- The ‘Cool Down Party’ – including a live DJ and drinks
Among the athletes and influencers joining the expo are sporting names such as Paula Radcliffe, Colin Jackson MBE, Iwan Thomas, Jamie Baulch and Tom Bosworth, plus more, as well as industry specific press and media.
