The Mallorca 312 OK Mobility gran fondo has once again confirmed its status as a key event on the international cycling calendar, with all 8,500 available entries for the 2026 edition reported to have sold out instantly upon registration opening at 11:00 CET today.
Next year’s cycling sportive will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The premium, closed-road event is hosted in Platja de Muro and attracts riders from all over the world to explore Mallorca’s landscapes, including the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, over one of its three distances: 312km, 225km, or 167km.
The organising team stated, “Selling out so quickly is the best validation of the team’s work, and of the support from our partners and volunteers. We’ll continue raising the bar in safety, experience, and sustainability to ensure every participant enjoys their best day on the bike in Mallorca.”
The immediate sell-out has also generated a boost for the local tourism sector. Hotels VIVA, the official hotel chain of the event, celebrated the news and reported a sharp rise in bookings from participants already preparing for their stay.
Similarly, the Playa de Muro Hotel Association confirmed a significant increase in booking requests among its member establishments, solidifying the event’s role as a key driver for the start of the tourist season in the Spanish island.
This success also serves a wider purpose for sport, with Antoni Bauzá, President of the Balearic Cycling Federation, highlighting that the popularity of Mallorca 312 OK Mobility inspires more people every year to take up cycling across the islands.
