247 steps out with carbon-plated hybrid sport run shoe: the ARC–4

247, the performance-wear division of British luxury brand Represent, has confirmed the launch of the ARC–4, its first carbon-plated hybrid running shoe.

Scheduled for release on February 4, 2026, the shoe is targeted at fitness racing / hybrid sport athletes, e.g., HYROX, and is designed to bridge the gap between high-speed running and the stability requirements of hybrid training.

The ARC–4 is the latest addition to the brand’s ARC performance footwear collection, which debuted in January 2025 with the ARC–1 Runner and ARC–2 Trainer. The newest model is engineered to support athletes who transition between explosive gym movements and running.

Key technical features of the ARC–4 include:

  • Carbon Progression Plate: A stiff, lightweight combination of carbon fibre and Pebax designed to provide energy return, stability, and forward propulsion.
  • Supercritical 247 Foam: An eco-friendly midsole material with a 65% rebound rate, offering a responsive ride while flanking the carbon plate.
  • Recycled Mesh Cover: A 3mm perforated foam insole aimed at improving breathability and comfort during high-intensity sessions.

George Heaton, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Represent, said “Ever since I started running myself, alongside my strength training, and creating our 247 collection, I’ve wanted to develop a performance-focused shoe that performs in both a running and hybrid setting – two core pillars of 247 and integral to our TEAM 247 athletes and the community we serve.”

The launch comes during a period of significant growth for the 247 arm, which now accounts for 24% of Represent’s overall business – a 10% increase compared to 2024.

To mark the new shoe release, the brand will host its first official running event, 247 Run: Heaton, on February 1, 2026. Taking place in the co-founders’ hometown of Manchester, the event follows the 2025 ‘Mission: Rivington‘ fitness competition and will feature both 5k and 10k race distances.

The ARC–4 will be available in UK sizes 6–13 from February 4, 2026, priced at £250.
