Dryrobe expands charity and event partnerships with Breast Cancer Now and IWSA

Dryrobe x Breast Cancer Now

Weatherproof changing robe brand Dryrobe has announced two new developments, entering a charitable partnership with Breast Cancer Now as well as renewing its official sponsorship agreement with the International Winter Swimming Association (IWSA).

The new charitable collaboration sees Dryrobe partner with UK breast cancer charity Breast Cancer Now. As part of the initiative, the brand will donate £25 from every Pink/Light Grey Dryrobe Advance sold. Funds will go directly to the non-profit organisation, while simultaneously offering customers a £25 discount on their purchase. The Dryrobe Pink/Light Grey Advance is available from dryrobe.com at £175.

In the lead-up to Breast Cancer Awareness month this October, Dryrobe is encouraging supporters to take on outdoor challenges in aid of the charity. Through these combined efforts, the company has pledged to give at least £25,000 to help drive Breast Cancer Now’s research and support services.

The initiative forms part of Dryrobe’s ‘Warmth Project’, a programme dedicated to supporting non-profit organisations aligned with health, community, and environmental sustainability. Through the project, the brand has previously partnered with organisations such as the RNLI, Surfers Against Sewage, and Seaful.

Gideon Bright, founder of Dryrobe, said “At Dryrobe, we’ve always believed in the power of community and in supporting people to face challenges with confidence and determination. We’re incredibly proud to partner with Breast Cancer Now, and hope that through this collaboration, our community can help make a meaningful difference to the lives of thousands of people across the UK.”

Claire Pulford, Associate Director of Relationship Fundraising and Events at Breast Cancer Now, said “We’re very excited to be partnering with Dryrobe and we are so grateful for their generous support. Every pound raised through this partnership will help us continue our life-saving science and life-changing support for anyone affected by breast cancer.

“With a woman diagnosed with breast cancer every nine minutes in the UK, and a man every day, this support is crucial. This partnership will help us move closer to realising our bold vision that, by 2050, everyone with breast cancer will live and live well.”

Alongside its charity work, Dryrobe has renewed its partnership with the IWSA for a further two years. Building on previous support for two IWSA World Championships, the extended agreement covers the 2026–2027 Winter Swimming World Cup season and the lead-up to the 2028 IWSA World Championships.

Dryrobe will continue as the official change robe of the IWSA, with products utilised across all World Cup events. The 2026–2027 World Cup season begins in El Calafate, Argentina, on August 4–10, 2026, which will also host the 2028 IWSA World Championships.

The tour will subsequently visit international destinations, including Gdynia, Poland, on February 3–7, 2027, alongside the IWSA European Championships, as well as North African mountain lakes, Alpine winter resorts, and northern European destinations. The schedule also includes the UK Cold Water Championships at Tooting Bec Lido on January 30, 2027.

Gideon Bright at Dryrobe continued “We’re proud to once again cooperate with the IWSA. The World Cup season represents everything that we believe in, and what makes cold-water sport special – resilience, respect for nature, international friendship and local communities welcoming athletes from around the world.”

Mariia Yrjö-Koskinen, President of the International Winter Swimming Association, said “Winter swimming is one sport, one community and one family. The continuing two year partnership with Dryrobe helps us share that message more widely and supports the growing international family of winter swimmers throughout the World Cup season.”

Established in 2010 by Gideon Bright, South West UK-based Dryrobe produces outdoor changing robes used across multiple sports. A certified B Corp, the company’s client list includes Team GB and Red Bull.

Breast Cancer Now is a registered non-profit charity in the UK funding research, support, and campaigning for earlier diagnosis. The IWSA serves as the international governing body for winter swimming, overseeing international events including the World Cup series and World Championships.
