Obstacle Course Race (OCR) organiser Spartan has signed a new multi-year agreement to return to ACTIVEWorks Endurance (AWE) as its official registration and event management technology provider.
The decision brings Spartan’s global portfolio of obstacle course races, ultra events, kids’ races, and championship series back to the ACTIVE Network platform after the brand previously evaluated alternative providers in the market.
AWE will power event registration, athlete management, and race-day operations across Spartan’s event portfolio, which spans more than 40 countries and attracts hundreds of thousands of participants annually.
Spartan cited AWE’s endurance-specific functionality, operational scale, and recent platform updates as primary factors in its decision. Key updates to the platform include enhanced mobile athlete experience tools, multi-event series management, and real-time race-day operations software.

Under the multi-year deal, AWE will manage the entire lifecycle of Spartan events, covering initial ticketing and registration through to athlete check-in and post-event engagement.
