The 2XU Long Beach Marathon has announced a three-year partnership with Hight Logistics, naming the local transportation and logistics company the event’s Official Sustainable Transportation Partner through 2028.
Organised by endurance event company Motiv Sports, the partnership begins with the 42nd annual 2XU Long Beach Marathon, taking place in Long Beach, CA, on October 9–11, 2026. The event will welcome a sold-out field of more than 28,000 participants.
Hight Logistics, founded in 2011, provides services for the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. The company operates a zero-emission freight program that has surpassed 2 million EV miles over four years, supported by in-yard charging infrastructure and an active fleet of 26 electric trucks.
As part of the sponsorship activation, Hight Logistics will display a branded Class 8 electric truck near the finish-line area on Shoreline Drive during race weekend. The company plans to further expand its zero-emission fleet with the addition of 25 Tesla Class 8 Semis next year.

The 2XU Long Beach Marathon course passes local landmarks including the Queen Mary, Shoreline Village, Belmont Shore, Marine Stadium, and Cal State Long Beach. The race weekend also features the Aquarium of the Pacific 5K, a half marathon, a Bike Tour, and the Health & Wellness Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center.
