Jimmy Johnsen rides with DT Swiss and Ceepo in 2013

2 x Ironman Champion Jimmy Johnsen has partnered with wheel brand DT Swiss. This follows a recently signed agreement that will also see him ride Ceepo bikes in 2013.

“I am really excited to announce that in 2013 I have partnered with DT Swiss,” said Johnsen. “Having a leading brand like DT Swiss behind me as I take on Kona in 2013 is a great privilege.

“I’ve just received my wheels for next year and they are awesome! I’ve already had the chance to ride my R21?s and I was very impressed with how stable they feel even at high speeds and downhill so I know I’m in good hands. I love the white spokes on my race wheels, so they will definitely stand out in T1 and make it easy to find my bike!

In 2013, Johnsen will be using DT Swiss RR21 wheels for training; this is alongside RRC 46 DICUT T, RRC 66 DICUT T & RRC disc wheels for racing.

In December, Johnsen confirmed that he had signed a sponsor agreement with Ceepo bikes, which sees him ride with CEEPO – the official bike sponsor of Ironman – throughout 2013.

“I am very excited to have signed with Ceepo for 2013,” Johnsen said. “I have long been a fan of their bikes so it’s a big honour to be officially working with them and getting the opportunity to ride their speed machines.”

His weapons of choice are the Ceepo Viper & Ceepo Mamba bikes. In 2013 Johnsen will be focused on qualifying for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas and then the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

“I’m really looking forward to representing Ceepo as I take on both the world championships in 2013.”
