2nd TBI Global Triathlon Conference keynotes to include Timo Bracht & Chris McCormack

TBI - 2nd Global Triathlon Conference presented by Challenge Family and powered by Lapio

The program for the 2015 Global Triathlon Conference on 9-11 July, held in conjunction with DATEV Challenge Roth in Germany and powered by Lapio, is shaping up with keynote speakers and panels. The conference organising team at Triathlon Business International (TBI) note that the forum ‘will be informative, topical and a unique opportunity to interact and meet with executives and elite athletes that shape the business and sport of triathlon.’

The conference will be held at Kulturfabrik, Roth, with the opening reception on 9 July in Nuremberg.

Two of the greatest triathletes in the sport of triathlon’s history will provide keynote addresses at the conference:

  • Timo Bracht, 2014 Challenge Roth champion and 8x IRONMAN distance winner; and
  • Chris ‘Macca’ McCormack 2x IRONMAN World Champion, 2012 Long Distance World Champion, 2007 Challenge Roth champion, and 1997 ITU World Cup Series winner.

The conference will focus on the business of the sport – trends, challenges, growth forecasts, promoting the sport, new technology, social media and mobile trends; international mergers/acquisitions; and other topics designed specifically to bring insights into the market forces that shape the globalization and growth of triathlon, and its related sports of swimming, biking and running.
