With the aim of bringing fashion and glamour to sporty swimwear, Aqua Sphere notes that its new 2016 collection is ‘crammed with technical detailing to benefit the active fitness swimmer.’
The company adds that its new range has a ‘kaleidoscope of high-saturation shades that blend with the hottest on-trend metallics and iridescent rainbow fabrics to create a collection with something for every frequent swimmer, from lap devotees to water exercise enthusiasts.’
Vibrant geometric shapes and bold stripes feature strongly in the new collection. High fashion detailing includes coloured zips and contrast piping and binding, ‘ensuring the everyday lap swimmer does not ever need to compromise on head turning style.’
The new core collection is manufactured using VITA fabric, which itself is positioned as a sustainable techno-fabric made with Econyl – 100% regenerated polyamide fibre from post-consumer materials.
Aqua Sphere adds that the recycled material is smooth, fine and soft to touch, but has strength to provide muscle control and body-hugging stretch and shape retention. It claims to have long lasting ultra-high chlorine resistance alongside UV protection and high resistance to sun cream and oil.
Key pieces include the striking panelled SISKIN women’s swimsuit, which is double lined with integral bust support and a racer back. The close fitting nature of the VITA fabric ensures a flattering silhouette and, like many styles from 2016, SISKIN includes new Thermo bonded shoulder straps, which offer comfort and incorporate a simple strap adjustment system and new bra fastening for an easier fit.
Enjoying success with its ultra non-absorbent fast drying Aqua Light fabric, launched two years ago to give fitness swimmers a range which was easier to transport when wet and which would feel more comfortable and less-clingy after a swim, Aqua Sphere has enhanced this line for 2016 with fresh detailing and a new colour palette.
The TEQUILA one piece for women showcases eye catching panelling and contrast piping. Popular styles such as CINDY are refreshed for 2016 and are now manufactured using the VITA fabric. Aqua Sphere has also extended its size range and many styles for women are now available from size 30 – 42.
