‘On My Own Way’ is the name of the audiovisual project about pro triathlete Ivan Raña. This informative video project shares his everyday experiences, feelings and reactions. It charts his training sessions and routines; and the video lets viewers into the daily life of the professional triathlete and what keeps him going day-in-day-out.
The video is made up of different times and events throughout the whole season. Races and training from places such as Lanzarote in Spain, plus Brazil, Madrid and many other destinations finish with the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, USA.
‘Libre’ (‘Free’), the first video of the series, showed Raña’s day-to-day training and ‘explores his deepest thoughts’.
The second chapter, ‘Palmas’, shot at IRONMAN 70.3 Palmas in Brazil, shows ‘the reality of the competition, travel, previous days, the race and the different sensations of Ivan, before, during and after the competition.’
