USA Triathlon has announced the results of its 2017 Board of Directors Election. Susan Haag, Mike Wien, Kevin Haas, Erin Storie and Keri Serota were elected to the USA Triathlon Board of Directors. All new board members will serve two-year terms beginning in January 2018.
Haag, Wien and Haas were re-elected as continuing Board members in their respective regions. Serota joins the Board of Directors for the first time as the Mideast Region representative, while Storie was re-elected as an Athlete Director.
As mandated by USA Triathlon Bylaws, officer seats — including President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer — will be elected by the members of the Board of Directors at the first meeting of the year in January.
“On behalf of USA Triathlon, I look forward to the continued service of Susan, Mike, Kevin and Erin on the USA Triathlon Board of Directors, and I am proud to welcome Keri to the Board for the first time,” said Barry Siff, USA Triathlon Board of Directors President. “These five individuals bring diverse talents and a combined wealth of experience in the multisport community, and I look forward to working with each of them to advance USA Triathlon’s strategic goals.”
