UK event discovery and booking platform, findarace.com has teamed up with njuko.com, ‘Europe’s largest endurance registration platform’. The two firms have collaborated to share live data, to help support race directors in the return to racing.
Together they have created ‘The Pulse’. This is an index to show public interest in searching for and booking races.
‘The Race Ready score is calculated with a few factors including findarace.com traffic, search trends data, survey responses and on-site bookings as well as international registrations data from njuko.com.’
The data produces some very summary graphs of who is looking for races and subsequently who is then booking races. The booking data compares month on month to 2019. This shows the drop in event bookings due to Covid-19 but also ‘the slow increase as things return back to normal.’
Jacob Hibberd from Find a Race said “It’s clearly an incredibly challenging time for race organisers. The goal of The Pulse is to give race organisers a quick and easy way to see trends from the racing public.
“Hopefully this resource will help in their planning and decision making as we all try and get back to a full and thriving racing calendar. Partnering up with njuko means we can give even more detailed booking trends data across Europe and the rest of the world.”
Matt Trevett from njuko said “When findarace.com came to us with the idea to create The Pulse we didn’t think twice. We love how they are supporting the endurance space. We took it right back to hard data – an exact, transparent connection to who is searching for and registering for events globally. We want this to be the start of the upwards positive trend, we know it is coming.”
njuko provides registration for a number of leading endurance events such as the Frankfurt Marathon, Luxembourg Marathon, Dead Sea Marathon, Vienna City Marathon, Nuclear Races, Cyprus Marathon, Tough Mudder Ireland and some leading UK club races such as The Great Bentley Half Marathon.
