Elite Cycling has announced its Women on Wheels BKOOL challenge. Designed to celebrate, connect and support female cyclists, the virtual competition was launched on International Women’s Day and will continue throughout Women’s History Month, coming to a close on April 11th.
“The goal is to celebrate all women in sports and raise awareness on how important it is to challenge the status quo and the huge representation of women in cycling and within all sports,” said Elite spokesperson, Marta Segato.
“Everyone can take part but only one cyclist will be drawn at random among those women who finish all five stages, to win a complete Elite pain cave.”
The grand prize winner will win receive:
- An Elite Suito-T home trainer
- Elite Training Mat
- Zugaman sweat towel
Each stage will also have a winner drawn at random for an outdoor prize combo, akin to their style of cycling: road, MTB or gravel:
- 2 x bottle cages – Cannibal XC
- 2 x JET 550ml bottles made in biodegradable plastic
Other brands are participating in the challenge and have put prizes up for grabs, some of which are specific for female cyclists, including: KASK, KOO, Selle Italia, Gobik, RFEC and more.
