The new dates for the MyWhoosh Championship have now been confirmed. Having recently been postponed, the rescheduled virtual race series will be held from April 28, 2023 to May 5, 2023. Registrations will be opening on March 27 via the MyWhoosh events page.
A release from MyWhoosh added that it… ‘looks forward to welcoming virtual riders from across the world to compete for the largest prize pot in virtual cycling history: US$1 million!”
The MyWhoosh Championship is an eight-day, seven-stage virtual cycling event. With a prize pool of US$1,000,000, it is billed as ‘the biggest virtual cycling event in history’.
The MyWhoosh Championship is free-to-enter and open to men and women across the world. Participants can enter as an individual rider or as a member of a team and will be selected based on the performance data they submit. Successful riders will be split into categories according to their level of ability.
The final selection will consist of 120 men and 120 women which will include the best and most competitive riders who have followed the MyWhoosh verification protocol to ensure fair racing. Prizes will be awarded to general classification winners and stage winners and will be equally split between women and men.
