Quintana Roo has announced its partnership with IRONMAN for the upcoming VinFast IRONMAN World Championship men’s race, being held on October 26, 2024, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
The partnership brings together two brands with a long history in triathlon. IRONMAN, which first began with 15 competitors in 1978 in Oahu, has grown to a series of 150+ events globally, inspiring tens of thousands of athletes every year to achieve beyond what even they thought possible.
Quintana Roo has been at the forefront of the triathlon industry since developing the first bicycle designed for triathlon in 1989. Its wide range of triathlon bikes have been used by thousands aiming to realize a dream of becoming an IRONMAN finisher.
Quintana Roo notes that, for decades, the VinFast IRONMAN World Championships in Kona has been, and remains, a centrepiece achievement for triathletes. The partnership at this year’s men’s race in Kona allows Quintana Roo to support triathletes at the event.

Quintana Roo will be present in Kona supporting hundreds of age group triathletes ahead of the race, and will have on display within the IRONMAN Village expo its full range of triathlon bikes, including the flagship V-PRi that will be ridden by current American IRONMAN Pro Series leader Matt Hanson and rising French talent Arthur Horseau in Kona on race day. Also on show will be the X-PR, a popular model… ‘delivering pro-tier treatment with exceptional fit and value.’
During race week the bike brand will:
- Commandeer the IRONMAN expo stage for a short informational pre-race strategy Q&A with elite athletes Matt Hanson and Arthur Horseau
- Host demos of its models including the flagship V-PRi
- Provide age groupers a customary free pre-race bike service for all racing QR athletes
- Hold a must-be-present-to-win frameset giveaway at the QR booth
