Tough Mudder and Spartan Race have announced a new partnership with fundraising platform givestar.
Becoming the obstacle course racing (OCR) events’ official fundraising platform for 2025 onwards, participants across all Tough Mudder and Spartan events in the UK will have the opportunity to use givestar’s platform to raise funds for the causes they care about most.
The three-year partnership will see givestar become an integrated part of the customer booking journey giving participants the chance to choose to make a difference by selecting a charity of their choice when registering.
This will automate a customised fundraising page – sent directly to the participants’ inbox. The free givestar app and innovations such as Boost Donate (contactless donations) will streamline the efforts for fundraisers.
With givestar’s charities can also build a fundraising community, with target leaderboards, challenges and incentives.
Billed as a ‘next gen fundraising platform’, givestar has already raised over £17 million and is a partner to some of the UK’s biggest brands such as Macmillan, NSPCC, Shelter, British Red Cross, Walk the Walk and Cancer Research UK.
