Challenge Florianópolis is set to close the 2025 Challenge Family racing season. The event will take place on Sunday, November 30, on the coastline of Santa Catarina, Brazil.
More than 1,000 age group athletes are expected to compete in the Sprint and Middle Distance races this month. The field highlights the popularity of Challenge Florianópolis, which is taking place for the second time this year following an April edition.
Florianópolis, known as the ‘Magic Island’, features over 100 beaches and a coastline that attracts athletes and supporters. The race begins with a sunrise swim from the Jurerê Internacional beach, where athletes will start their day in typically calm, moderate waters.
The bike course starts along the coast before heading inland, passing several well-known areas of the island. The course features a mix of fast sections and technical turns.
The run course returns to Jurerê Internacional, taking athletes through its central streets with spectator support along the way. The finish line features music, crowds, and a lively atmosphere.
Challenge Family adds that Challenge Florianópolis continues to grow as one of South America’s key triathlon events, with the race providing a fitting close to the 2025 season.
