Premium cycling apparel brand MAAP has opened its latest Life around Bikes (LaB) store in Sydney, Australia. Located in the new Oxford & Foley development in Darlinghurst, the space represents the brand’s largest retail footprint to date.
The Sydney location is MAAP’s ninth international LaB store, following openings in cities such as Melbourne, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Singapore. The Darlinghurst site was curated by Clare Cousins Architects, the team responsible for several of the brand’s other international locations, including the recently opened Los Angeles store.
The design of the 243-square-metre space features a palette of stainless steel, sandy render, and terracotta. In addition to the retail area for apparel and accessories, the store includes a coffee bar and community space designed for hosting events and shared experiences.
Oliver Cousins, Co-founder and Co-CEO of MAAP, said “Each LaB has its own energy, and Sydney is no exception. Opening on Darlinghurst places us within one of the city’s most iconic suburbs. It’s additionally meaningful to open a LaB here at home, our second in Australia.”

The store soft-launched in early December, with its official opening on December 6, 2025. The brand intends to use the space to host a regular calendar of group rides and in-store activations for the local cycling community.
Founded in 2014, MAAP is an international cycling apparel brand known for its technical performance fabrics and bold design aesthetic. The company opened its first flagship store in Melbourne in 2022.
