Indoor cycling platform ROUVY has announced a series of virtual training camps in collaboration with professional teams Lidl-Trek and Team Visma | Lease a Bike.
The indoor training camps aim to support athlete preparation for the 2026 season. The initiative includes a high-profile social ride with Belgian professional Victor Campenaerts on New Year’s Day.
Running through to February 28, 2026, the ROUVY training camps offer structured regimens inspired by professional practice habits. The programme focuses on building endurance and physical strength during the indoor season, featuring new virtual routes in three key cycling destinations:
- Calpe, Spain (December): Six new routes across mixed terrain popular for winter training
- Tenerife, Canary Islands (January): Eight new routes featuring steep virtual inclines and volcanic scenery
- Girona, Spain (February): Four routes showcasing undulating terrain used by professionals
Antonin Parma, Experience Director at ROUVY, said “The indoor season is the perfect time for building and getting ready for the outdoor season. These training camps provide users with the necessary tools to not only exceed their own personal goals but also strive for greatness.”
To launch the January phase, Team Visma | Lease a Bike rider Victor Campenaerts will lead a New Year’s Day Group Ride on January 1, 2026 at 15:00 GMT. The 12.77km social virtual ride will take place on the Buenavista Del Norte route in Tenerife. Campenaerts will livestream the event on his YouTube channel to interact with participants.
“A tradition of mine every year is to kick off January with a steady ride with my friends – me at the end of a training session and for them it’s a chance to sweat out some of the night before’s party,” explained Campenaerts. “This year we’re opening it up to everyone else who’s on ROUVY.”
Headquartered in Prague, ROUVY utilises high-quality video to provide an immersive indoor cycling experience. The platform is an official partner of several major sporting organisations, including IRONMAN, Life Time Events, Challenge Family and various WorldTour cycling teams.
