Sports sunscreen brand, Pelotan, has announced a multi-year partnership with the world’s most iconic cycling event, the Tour de France, becoming the first ever brand in the sunscreen category to be an Official Product of the Tour.
This landmark partnership sees the launch of a co-branded Pelotan x Tour de France range, now available across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East via pelotan.cc (with the US to follow in July 2025). In homage to the race’s legendary jerseys, the range includes:
- Yellow Jersey Spray (SPF 30)
- Polka Dot Roll On
- Green Jersey Aftersun
- White Jersey Travel Spray
Prices start at £12.00 for the Polka Dot Edition Roll On, with the Yellow Jersey Spray coming in at £23.00. Each product is designed to protect athletes and fans alike, as the race heats up on the road to Paris.
“When A.S.O. approached us about becoming an Official Product of the Tour de France, it was a no-brainer,” said Tom Austen, Founder of Pelotan.
“To be the first official sunscreen partner is a testament to the impact we’ve made in cycling and endurance sport. It’s a full-circle moment, given our long-standing association with teams racing, and winning, at the Tour. Underneath every leader’s jersey, there’s Pelotan – and now we have the product range to match.”
Already an official partners of pro teams such as EF Education-EasyPost, Canyon//SRAM, and FDJ-SUEZ, as well as a number of riders across the peloton, Pelotan notes that its SPF 30 range is engineered for long days in the saddle. Its lightweight, sweat-resistant formula blocks up to 97% of UVB rays, helping riders avoid sunburn.
In celebration of its latest tie-up with Le Tour, Pelotan is planning a number of activations throughout the course of July. Co-branded products are available to purchase online via pelotan.cc, with a roll out to retail throughout July.
